On Wednesday morning, there was a fire in the factory of New Karachi Industrial Area which engulfed 2 factories, the rescue operation was going on to put out the fire that both the buildings fell to the ground, as a result of which 4 fires were buried under the debris. The fighters were killed, whose bodies were recovered from the wreckage.
The deceased firefighters have been identified as Sohail, Khalid Shahzad, Mohsin and Adnan.
13 people were injured in the incident, including 11 fire fighters.
According to fire brigade officials, KMC firefighters were engaged in the cooling process when the tragic incident took place.
The fire brigade officials say that the rescue operations have ended, after extinguishing the fire in the factory, the fire broke out again, due to the continuous fire, the buildings of the two factories were weakened

Governor of Sindh visits the site of the incident, reviews the relief work
On the other hand, Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori visited the site of the incident and reviewed the relief work.
Kamran Tesuri took notice of the deaths and injuries of firefighters due to the collapse of the buildings after the fire broke out in the factory.
Governor Sindh said that this is a big tragedy, four persons were martyred in the incident, it is our duty to take care of the families of the four persons, such incidents need to be stopped.
