The Pakistan Muslim League (N) has adopted a new narrative by weaponizing the two-party system, and has also launched a social media campaign in this regard, which began with a tweet by Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb.
Maryam Aurangzeb wrote in her message on Twitter, ‘Questions raised on the dual system must be answered.’
He was referring to the appearances and guarantees of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
In a tweet on Saturday, the federal minister said that 200 appearances vs 2 appearances, 2 years in jail vs immediate bail (bailable).
He added that four bulls (guarantees) a day against no “bulls” for 6 months.
He said that punishment for not taking salary from his son, silence for taking funds from foreigners, leave everything and punish him for breaking the constitution.
Maryam Aurangzeb also shared a picture with her tweet, which mentions 200 court appearances of PML-N leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz and 2 appearances of Imran Khan.
The hashtag of equalizing the scales of justice is also shared in the picture.
This narrative of Maryam Aurangzeb was also shared by other League leaders.
A social media user said that it’s not a hashtag, it’s a question that needs to be answered.
Another user also provided a list of “hybrid regime victims”.
