Iowa: Seeing the loneliness of a duck living alone near the cemetery, some pictures of it were taken down and an advertisement was made looking for a new life partner, after which it has now found a male duck.
This duck was seen alone near its nest on December 26, 2022, in frozen soil at a park in Devon, Indiana. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources took some photos of it and created an advertisement for it.
Blossom, a duck, lives on the outskirts of Riverside Cemetery, and a wanted ad for the house widowed duck was successful. According to staff, on August 2022, Blossom’s pair ‘Bud’ was killed in an animal attack. After that she was sad and lost.
‘I am young, energetic and full of life, I have also been described as beautiful. Come live with me in Riverside Cemetery, where there is grain, water and a lake to swim in and friends abound.’ An advertisement for ‘Blossom’ was created and posted on Facebook with these sentences and images.
In one picture, she is looking at her reflection in the marble inscription of the grave and seems to be feeling alone. Three days after the advertisement, wildlife officials found a male bull for her, which she accepted. Now this couple is living a happy life.
Interestingly, his new life partner ‘Frankie’ is a lonely male duck whose female has died.
