After the alleged Chinese spy balloon was shot down by the US a few days ago, the US Department of Defense has released a selfie taken from the cockpit of the spy plane.

This selfie was taken when the pilot took a selfie of the balloon and the plane flying high above the Chinese balloon. The balloon was shot down by the US military earlier this month.

A profile picture taken by the pilot shows the shadow of the aircraft on the balloon and a clear image of the balloon’s payload. This photo was taken when the balloon was passing through US airspace.

The balloon was first spotted in the US on January 28 and was eventually shot down by the US military off the coast of South Carolina. According to officials, the balloon was capable of carrying out intelligence gathering operations.
