A hearing was held in NEPRA headed by Tauseef Farooqui on the government’s request for approval of a surcharge of 3 rupees 82 paise per unit in electricity rates.

Taseef Farooqui said that those who paid the bill are being charged a surcharge of 3.39 paise per unit and those who have not paid the bill are still smiling.
