President Arif Alvi said that today Pakistan is celebrating International Women’s Day with the international community. We are determined to empower women socially and economically.

In his message on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the President reiterated his commitment to provide women with equal opportunities to advance and the digital divide is a major barrier to women’s empowerment in a changing world.

“Women are underrepresented in tech education, careers and governance. We need to step up our efforts to improve access to digital technologies,” he said.

Arif Alvi said that Pakistan needs to increase women’s access to technology programs.
