The Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court awarded death sentence to three accused in the Johar Town blast case.
The court also issued an order to confiscate the property of the accused.
The accused include Samiul Haque, Uzair Akbar and Naveed Akhtar.
The court says that the accused are associates of Peter Paul, the mastermind of the blast.
Four convicts, including Peter Paul, have already been convicted in the case.
The main accused were sentenced to death 9 times.
It should be noted that in June 2021, three people, including a policeman, were killed and at least 24 people were injured in a car bomb blast near Hafiz Saeed’s house in Johar Town area of Lahore.
The First Information Report (FIR) of the terrorist incident said, “The blast was so intense that a deep crater was created at the blast site, and vehicles inside and outside the houses were also damaged.”
Pakistan accused India of this act of terrorism and said, “This is a new attempt by India to promote terrorism in the country.”
Law enforcement agencies arrested five people for the attack, four of whom have already been sentenced to death.
