The country has recorded a 2 percent increase in crude oil production and a 4 percent decline in gas production on a weekly basis.
According to Pakistan Petroleum Information Service and Industry Statistics, the country’s average crude oil production in the week ended May 23 was recorded at 62,242 barrels, which is 2 percent higher than the previous week.
According to the report, the average daily production of crude oil in the country was recorded at 60891 barrels in the last week. According to the data, the average daily production of gas in the country for the week ending May 23 was recorded at 3107 MMcfd, which is 4% lower than the previous week. Average daily gas production in the country was recorded at 3229 mmcfd in the continuous week.
According to the data, the average daily production of crude oil of OGDCL was 29883 barrels and the average daily production of gas was recorded at 692 MMcfd in the last week. OGDCL recorded an average daily crude oil production of 27,490 barrels and an average daily gas production of 716 mmcfd in the continuous week. Similarly, average daily production of crude oil of Pakistan Petroleum Limited was 10368 barrels and average daily production of gas was recorded at 689 MMcfd.
Earlier, PPL’s average daily oil production was 9644 barrels and 680 mmcfd of gas. Mari Gas average daily crude oil production was 1135 barrels while average daily gas production was 758 mmcfd. were recorded at 995 barrels and 812 mmcfd respectively in the continuous week. Average daily crude oil production of POL was 3514 barrels while gas production was recorded at 53 MMcfd. POL’s average daily crude oil production of 4693 barrels and average daily gas production of 66 MMcfd were recorded in the continuous week.
