Digital census is going on in the country. Pakistan Bureau of Statistics has extended the last date of self-enumeration by one week for the convenience of the public.
The process of the seventh population census in the country started from February 20 and all the stages of the census will be completed by April 30.
Under the first phase of census, self-registration was scheduled till March 3, but now it has been extended by one week.
According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Statistical Office, the last date of self-enumeration has been extended by one week. The last date of self-enumeration was March 3. It has been extended at the insistence of all provinces.
According to the schedule of digital population census going on in the country, data is to be collected from house to house from March 1 to April 1.
The data will be finalized from April 2 to April 20 and all phases of the census will be completed by April 30.
Teams are busy across the country under the Pakistan Statistical Institute, while officials of various forces are performing duties for the security of the teams.
