The mercury in Shahr Qaid is likely to go up to 37 degrees Celsius, but the temperature will drop by one to two degrees Celsius from tomorrow.
Weather forecasters say that the weather in Karachi will remain hot and dry throughout the day, the sea breeze will remain suspended in the city during the day, but it may resume in the evening.
Today, the city is expected to be clear and sunny throughout the day, while the minimum temperature has been recorded at 23 degrees Celsius.
At present, the wind direction is north-east, in Syria, the wind will blow from the south-west direction, from tomorrow the temperature of the city will decrease by one to two degrees Celsius, but the heat will remain.
Weather forecaster Jawad Memon said that the temperature is likely to go up to 38 to 39 degrees Celsius in the outskirts of Karachi in Sarjani Town, Gulshan Mimar, Gulshan Hadid, Malir, Model Colony and other areas.
Jawad Memon said that due to increase in humidity, the temperature may feel hot up to 42-43 degrees Celsius in different areas of Karachi.
He further said that the reason for the coolness in the month of Ramadan compared to last year is due to the rapid climate change along with the westerly winds that have changed the weather in the middle of March.
Chief Meteorologist Dr. Sardar Sarfraz said that due to western winds, sea breezes are blowing in Karachi due to which the temperature has been lower than normal for the last two weeks.
Jawad Memon said the weather is unlikely to cool down again and usually April and May are the hottest months, but the weather can change.
