After the resounding success of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), it was announced by PCB Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi that more teams will be included in the upcoming edition.
On the other hand, foreign franchise owners started taking interest in Pakistan Super League. Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Comilla Victorians owner Nafisa Kamal is keen to buy a team in the Pakistan Super League.
According to Bangladeshi media, Nafisa Kamal has shown interest in buying a team in leagues outside Bangladesh.
Nafeesa Kamal did not formally contact PCB to buy a team in PSL.
According to the contract between the franchise and the PCB, a new team cannot be added before the tenth edition of PSL.
According to sources, whether new teams will be included in PSL or not, the decision is likely to be taken in the next meeting of the PSL Governing Council.
Onar Javed Afridi of Peshawar Zalmi has also indicated the inclusion of two new teams in PSL.
