The demand of caretaker Punjab government, the facts have come out
Najam Sethi said that now PSL 8 matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi will continue as per schedule.
Background of the matter
The caretaker Punjab government had demanded Rs 50 crore in different periods for PSL 8 matches in Multan, Lahore and Rawalpindi. Out of which Rs 5 crore was paid by PCB.
PCB’s position is that the Sindh government pays the expenses incurred on the matches in Karachi, the Sindh government has not asked anything from the PCB so far, so the Punjab government should not demand the money either. Otherwise the matches of PSL 8 will be shifted to Karachi.
