Derby: In Great Britain, 960 people gathered in one place and set a Guinness world record by doing krisia at the same time.
Guinness World Records confirmed the record at a ceremony organized by BBC Radio Derby at the Derby Arena in Derby, UK.
At the event, 960 people performed the krisha simultaneously, breaking the record of 604 people held in Australia in 2017.
The event was the culmination of BBC Radio Derby’s ‘Make a Difference: Make a Blanket’ campaign in which knitters from across the country sent knitted and crocheted blankets to those in need. The campaign resulted in the collection of nearly 2,000 homemade blankets which were donated.
