Former governor of Punjab and leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mahmood says that if he had the power, he would have made petrol at Rs 500 per litre.
Makhdoom Syed Ahmed from an event in Khazab said that we are giving petrol to the people cheaper than Dubai. If I had the power, I would have made the price of petrol Rs 500.
The PP leader said that after making petrol Rs 500 per litre, if he had seen the same rush on the roads of Lahore in the morning, he would have increased petrol by Rs 100 to Rs 600 per litre.
Regarding the prices of electricity and gas, the former governor of Punjab said that except for the electricity consumers who use 300 units, electricity would be Rs.100 per unit, while the gas prices would have increased tenfold.
