Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan left for Islamabad from Zaman Park Lahore to appear in the Tosha Khana case.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived at Gate No. 2 of Zaman Park Lahore at 8:20 a.m. for his appearance in the Islamabad court. Together they left for Islamabad.
The workers living in Zaman Park said that they would welcome their leader on his return.
Imran Khan will reach Islamabad via Motorway in the form of a convoy.
The hearing of the Tosha Khana case will be held today in NAB Court Number One of the Judicial Complex, Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal has summoned Imran Khan to indict him.
Imran Khan is likely to appear at the G-11 Judicial Complex today.
It should be remembered that the Sessions Court had set a date for indicting Imran Khan on January 31, but in his continued absence, the Sessions Court issued his non-bailable arrest warrant on February 28.
The Sessions Court executed the arrest warrant for March 7 and ordered Imran Khan to be arrested and produced, after which the Islamabad High Court suspended the arrest warrant on March 7 and ordered him to appear on March 13.
Imran Khan’s non-bailable arrest warrant was reinstated after he failed to appear on March 13.
The Sessions Court issued an arrest warrant for Imran Khan on March 18 and ordered him to be produced.
Yesterday, on March 17, the Islamabad High Court canceled the non-bailable arrest warrant of Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case and ordered him to appear today.
Yesterday, the Chief Commissioner Islamabad shifted the Tosha Khana case hearing from the court to the judicial complex.
On the other hand, the Lahore High Court had approved Imran Khan’s bail in 9 cases yesterday.
