Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan decided to appear in the Islamabad court tomorrow after consulting the party leadership and legal team.
An important consultative meeting of PTI was held in Lahore chaired by Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan. In which a consultation was held on the issue of the appearance of party chief Imran Khan in the court of Islamabad yesterday.
During the meeting, Imran Khan consulted the senior leaders of the party and the legal team and decided to appear in the court.
Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Asad Umar has confirmed the decision of Imran Khan to appear and said that the party chairman will appear in Islamabad court on Monday.
After the PTI meeting, senior leader Fawad Chaudhry left for Islamabad along with the legal team, while the central leadership of Tehreek-e-Insaf will also reach Islamabad.
On the other hand, Islamabad Police says that there is no information regarding the possible court appearance of Imran Khan tomorrow, they will make security arrangements in the light of court orders.
Police say that only concerned persons are allowed to enter the court premises.
Police say that if past practice is adopted, legal procedures will be applied without discrimination, full enforcement of law will be implemented on an equal level.
