The Lahore High Court has approved all the security warrant requests of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.
A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh heard on the bail application of Imran Khan in 9 cases.
Chairman PTI Imran Khan filed a total of 9 applications for protective bail in the Lahore High Court, of which 5 in Islamabad and 4 in Lahore included applications for protective bail.
Imran Khan had filed applications for protective bail in 9 cases of Islamabad Sessions Court’s arrest warrant, Zul Shah murder, Tosha Khana, and rioting cases in the Lahore High Court, which have been approved by the Lahore High Court.
The Lahore High Court has granted Imran Khan protective bail till March 24 in the Islamabad cases and March 27 in the Lahore cases.
Imran Khan’s lawyers Khawaja Tariq Rahim, Azhar Siddique gave arguments and said that 9 cases of terrorism have been registered in Lahore, Islamabad, Zul Shah has filed applications for protective bail in other cases including murder.
Fawad Chaudhry said during the hearing that if the court had not intervened, more peace and order problems would have arisen, on which the court said that we have only a case of protective bail before us.
Chairman PTI came to the rostrum and thanked the court and said that in Zaman Park it looked like we are terrorists, thank you for looking into this matter.
The former prime minister said that for a month and a half I was saying that my life is in danger but I was not given security, I have not broken the law all my life.
Imran Khan said that the date of election has been given and they are registering cases, my house was attacked, I have never gone against the law while the interior ministry is saying that my life is in danger.
Earlier, the court allowed Imran Khan to come to the Lahore High Court and restrained him from arresting the Chairman PTI until the court was brought.
Taking into consideration the movement of the PSL team, Imran Khan was ordered to appear before the court by half past five, while the SSP operations were also directed to reach the court.
When Chairman PTI Imran Khan left Zaman Park towards Lahore High Court, a large number of workers were present with him.
When Imran Khan’s convoy reached the Lahore High Court, he was welcomed by Jam Ghafir of the people, and flowers were showered on his vehicle. Imran Khan’s lawyers requested to take their leader’s car to the court premises, which was approved.
Earlier, in the petition filed for Imran Khan’s security bond through lawyer Azhar Siddique, the advocate pleaded that he wants to appear in court and face the charges against him, there is a fear of arrest by the police, the court said. Approve security bonds in cases.

Ishtiaq A. Khan told the court that the schedule of the meeting they want to do has been confirmed, the meeting should be held on Sunday and Monday, this issue has been settled with the provincial government.

On the other hand, Imran Khan also approached the Islamabad High Court to stop the arrest in the cases filed across the country.

The petition further stated that other fundamental rights including access to justice and fair trial are being denied.
In the petition, it has been requested that the details of the cases filed against Imran Khan across the country should be sought, the arrest should be subject to the prior permission of the court and the records of the cases filed across the country should be given.
