Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in all government buildings of Islamabad in 7 weeks Solar system Directed to install.

In the meeting presided over by the Prime Minister, the progress regarding the transfer of government buildings across the country to solar energy was reviewed.

The meeting was told that 496 in Islamabad, 340 in major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Quetta and 1255 in other areas will be installed with solar panels.

Efficiencies in installing and operating solar panels

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave clear instructions to the concerned authorities in Islamabad to complete the project within a specified period.

The Prime Minister said that he will not tolerate slowness in measures to reduce dependence on imported fuel. Work on solarization of federal government buildings should be started immediately in the rest of the country.
