In the second semi-final of the Junior Asia Cup Hockey Tournament, Pakistan reached the final by defeating Malaysia.
In the second semi-final match of the ongoing Junior Asia Cup in Salalah, Oman, Pakistan qualified for the final by defeating Malaysia by six goals to two.
Pakistan scored the first goal in the 42nd minute by Muhammad Sufyan Khan, the second goal in the 44th minute by Abdul Rahman, the third goal by Abdul Hanan Shahid in the 47th minute, the fourth goal by Abdul Rahman in the 48th minute and the fifth goal in the 51st minute by Abdul Rahman completed the hat trick. The sixth goal was scored by Arbaaz Ahmed in the 58th minute.
On behalf of Malaysia, Danish and Prabhu scored goals, Abdul Rahman was declared the player of the match.
It should be noted that in the first two quarters, Malaysia had a 0-1 lead against Pakistan, in the third quarter, Pakistan made a comeback and tied the match at 2-2.
In the fourth quarter, Pakistan scored 4 consecutive goals and gained a decisive advantage in the match. In the first semi-final, India defeated South Korea by 9 goals to one. Already qualified.
