A member of the Pakistan Ulema Association was killed in a firing near Golestan-e-Johar Block 9 of Karachi.

According to rescue, the dead person has been identified as Maulana Abdul Qayyum Sufi.

The police said that the deceased Maulana Abdul Qayyum Sufi was a member of Pakistan Ulema Association as well as the Imam of Jamia Masjid Muhammadiya Noorani Islamic Center.

It was further said that the deceased was returning home after offering prayers when he was targeted by 2 accused on a motorcycle.
