Former finance minister and Muslim League (N) leader Miftah Ismail says that in my view there is no plan B, there is no plan B except the IMF.
In a statement, Miftah Ismail said that we should have high-level diplomacy with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He said that currently Pakistan is in dire need of 5 to 6 billion dollars, if Pakistan defaults, it will not be good for the world.
The former finance minister said that it seems that the situation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is the same, the question of the IMF on giving petrol subsidy to low-income people, the government also has the IMF to give petrol. But subsidy is the answer.
On the elections, Miftah Ismail said that the powerful have considered themselves above the law, the court has clearly said that elections should be held in 90 days.
