The US dollar hit an all-time high against the Pakistani currency, 91 paise in the interbank market and 2 rupees in the open market.
The rupee depreciated further in the currency market, the dollar hit an all-time high, and the dollar rose by Rs 1.41 to a record high of Rs 288.50 at the close of business.
According to currency dealers, the dollar rose by Rs 2 to Rs 295 in the open market, due to the decrease in remittances and the increase in demand for Hajj.
