The last phase of local body elections in Azad Kashmir has been completed, the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has won 144 seats of three mayors, one deputy mayor and chairman.
The last phase of local body elections in Azad Kashmir was held in the name of Tehreek-e-Insaaf. The ruling party managed to get three mayors and one deputy mayor.
144 chairman and 107 deputy chairman of PTI were successful in USC.
PPP won a deputy mayor’s seat. 53 chairman and 50 deputy chairman of PPP were successful in UCIS.
Muslim League (N) also managed to get one mayor’s seat while 52 chairman and 51 deputy chairman of PML-N were elected in UCIS.
8 Chairman and 10 Deputy Chairman of Muslim Conference won the victory.
One Mayor of Jammu Kashmir People’s Party won while 3 Chairman and 2 Deputy Chairman of Jammu Kashmir People’s Party won.
Independent candidates were declared successful on 69 seats of chairman and 83 seats of deputy chairman.
Jamaat-e-Islami got one chairman and one deputy chairman seat.
JUI won 2 chairman seats and TLP one chairman seat.
Chairman and Deputy Chairman are yet to be elected on 4 seats.
