Petitions against practice and procedure have been fixed for hearing in the Supreme Court.

An 8-member bench headed by the Chief Justice has been constituted to hear the petitions against the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill.

The larger bench includes Justice Ijazul Hasan, Justice Muneeb, Justice Mazhar Naqvi, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Shahid Waheed.

It should be noted that 4 petitions against the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill were filed in the Supreme Court.

It should be remembered that the federal government approved the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill from the National Assembly and the Senate and sent it to the President of Pakistan for approval, but President Arif Alvi sent the bill back to the Speaker for revision.

While two days ago, the federal government re-approved the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill through the joint session of the Parliament.
