Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hinted at the general elections in August and September and said that no party can run away from the election, the party that runs away from the election will cease to exist.

He further said that the elections in the country are a constitutional requirement which will be held on time, the federal government is performing its duties well, the census has been started in the country, for which funds have been provided, during the previous government’s tenure. A new census was decided in the Council of Common Interests.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that some parties had concerns about the census in the past, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has expressed concerns about peace and order on the occasion of the provincial elections. We will participate in the elections with full preparation. There should be no doubt.

Shahbaz Sharif said that National Assembly elections are to be held in August and September. No party including PML-N can run away from the elections. We put our politics at stake to save the state. Nawaz Sharif was removed from the Prime Ministership on one occasion.

He further said that the head of a political party considers himself above the law, he can go to rallies but it is impossible for him to go to courts, Imran Khan is making an excuse of his illness and helplessness, Imran Khan said.
