Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took a big step to remove the concerns of the provinces on the census and ordered the immediate release of funds.

According to Sarwar Gondal, the spokesperson of the Statistical Institute, twelve billion rupees of funds have been released, the second installment of funds was released to the provinces for census arrangements.

Sarwar Gondal said that for the census funds were released to the provinces in 3 different categories, 92 crore 89 thousand rupees were released to Sindh.

According to the spokesperson of the Bureau of Statistics, 43 million rupees were released to Balochistan, 64 million rupees to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while one billion 88 million rupees will be released to Punjab.

Sarwar Gondal, the spokesperson of the Statistics Institute, said that the authorities were given access to the monitoring dashboards for monitoring.
