The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a major decision to change the date of the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8 mega event due to possible weather conditions.
It should be noted that before the start of the event, the date of final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8 was fixed on Sunday, March 19. However, due to bad weather and possible rain in Lahore, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ) has decided to hold the final in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Saturday, March 18, while Monday has been kept as a reserve day.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee chief Najam Sethi has told that PSL is our wonderful event, all the teams participating in the mega event work hard for the whole year to win the trophy and the public as well. They also want to see their favorite team champion.
It has been told by Najam Sethi that after the bad weather forecast information, the board took a timely decision and kept the date of the final one day earlier. For which there has been a discussion with the teams, they have also supported the decision of the board.
He further said that facilities are also available for the public for the final. Tickets purchased for Sunday’s match can also be used on Saturdays.
