Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee chief Najam Sethi has said that our effort is to include two more teams in the upcoming event of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
While talking to the media in Lahore, the head of PCB management committee added that due to the election in Punjab, there is a slight change in the home series against New Zealand, this series will definitely take place in any case. Earlier, the series was supposed to start from Karachi, then Lahore and Rawalpindi, but now it will be slightly changed. The new schedule will be announced next week.
Continuing his talk, he said that talks with Mickey Arthur are also going on, the home series against New Zealand will be as scheduled, but due to the elections in Punjab, some changes are being made.
Najam Sethi thanked all the organizations for making the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8 successful and said that the ticket sales were record, the rating on digital stood at 10 which is ahead of IPL. They are trying to add 2 more teams to the league, there is also a plan to have a women’s league.
He further said that Asia Cup, World Cup and Champions League will be discussed in the meeting held in Dubai. If Pakistan team goes to India, apart from security, permission will be sought to take the media along.
