Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the details and teams of 3 exhibition matches of PSL Women’s League.

According to the details released on PSL’s official Twitter account, matches between the two women’s teams in Pakistan Super League 8 will be played on March 8, 10 and 11 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

PCB has formed teams named Amazon and Superwoman for the exhibition matches, which will be led by Bisma Maruf and Nida Dar.

Tania Malik, head of women’s cricket, said that the T20 match on Wednesday (March 8) has been held in connection with Women’s Day, in which awareness will be given on women empowerment.

He said that the second exhibition match will be played on Friday (March 10) to raise awareness about breast cancer in collaboration with Pink Ribbon Pakistan, while the third and final exhibition match will be played on Saturday (March 11) in collaboration with Circle Women through education. It will be played to empower women.

Tania Malik said that the step taken by the PCB in organizing exhibition matches of the Women’s League would be a welcome one, which would help the players and officials to take the game forward as a career.

He added that when you play a league with foreign players, it gives the local players an opportunity to learn their skills and it also motivates the players to improve their game.

Tania also appealed to the fans to come to the stadium in support of women’s cricket.

Umpire Salima Imtiaz said that I am very excited that the women’s league exhibition matches are taking place, in which our players will get an opportunity to showcase their skills.

PCB has also confirmed the three matches, Mohammad Anees will perform the duties of umpiring in the three matches.

It should be noted that Shuzab Raza will join Salima Imtiaz as an on-field empire for the first T20 match on March 8. Tariq Rashid will be the third umpire and Humira Farah will be the fourth umpire.

For the second T20 match, Shuzab Raza and Humira Farah will perform on-field umpiring duties, Tariq Rasheed and Salima Imtiaz will perform third and fourth umpiring duties.

For the third and final T20 match, Tariq Rasheed and Salima Imtiaz will perform on-field umpiring duties, Shuzab Raza and Humira Farah will perform third and fourth umpiring duties.
