Russia sent a Soyuz rescue craft to the International Space Station to bring back crew members stranded in space.
According to the Russian news agency, Soyuz has been launched from Kazakhstan’s space center to the International Space Station. The mission will bring the crew stranded on the space station back to Earth.
The rescue mission will bring back to Earth the crew aboard the International Space Station whose capsule’s cooling system has malfunctioned.
The mission of the astronauts on the International Space Station was supposed to be completed in March, but the original crew capsule was damaged, which caused the cooling system to leak. The astronauts will be brought back to Earth in the same month.
