The court rejected the petition regarding the ban on former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech as inadmissible.
In the Sindh High Court, a hearing was held on the petition related to the ban on the speech of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The application was heard by the Dorkani bench headed by Chief Justice Sindh High Court.
Petitioner Sameera Mehdi submitted that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in his speeches blames the judiciary and honorable judges, and his speeches are being broadcast on the media.
The petitioner requested the court to stop all TV channels from telecasting Nawaz Sharif’s speech.
The court remarked that Nawaz Sharif has obtained bail from the court, and Shahbaz Sharif is also on bail, so should Shahbaz Sharif’s speech be banned.
The court dismissed the petition as inadmissible, and directed the petitioner to approach the courts from which Nawaz Sharif got bail.
