Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has visited the Army Cemetery in Rawalpindi.
Army Chief General Asim Munir welcomed Shahbaz Sharif on his arrival. Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Maryam Aurangzeb were also with Shahbaz Sharif.
On the occasion of his visit to the Army Cemetery, the Prime Minister laid flowers on the martyrs’ memorial and recited the Fatiha.
Addressing the prayer ceremony held at the Army Cemetery, Shahbaz Sharif said that Allah has given orders regarding honoring the martyrs, those who desecrate the martyrs have angered Allah and they are criminals in front of the nation.
He said that we are with the army chief and the forces of Pakistan who are using all their energies to end the fitna.
The Prime Minister said that the martyrs protected every inch of Pakistan, they fought against the enemy and sacrificed their lives for the country and today only because of the martyrs, the Pakistan of the leader is safe.
Shahbaz Sharif said that those who sacrificed for the country are great sons of great mothers to whom we salute.
On the events of May 9, the Prime Minister said that on that day, Jhata committed desecration on the seduction of a leader, history will never forget May 9, but these terrorists will be wiped out according to the law.
