Hazrat Ali’s Martyrdom Day is being celebrated with devotion and respect across the country today.

Mourning processions will be held today in different cities of the country.

The main procession in Karachi will take off from Nishtar Park in the afternoon. On this occasion, special security arrangements have been made in the city and the roads leading to its passage have been blocked with containers.

In connection with the Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali Karamullah Rabiyya in Karachi, the Central Martyrdom Majlis of Hazrat Ali will be held at Nishtar Park at 10 am organized by Zameer Al Hasan Trust.

In which Maulana Amin Shaheedee will address the Majlis after Suz Khwani and salam, after which the procession of knowledge, coffin and Dhul-Janah will be brought out.

The procession will be led by Botarab Scouts, the participants of the procession will reach the Exhibition Chowrangi from Mahfil Shah Khorasan.

Zahreen prayer will be offered at Ali Raza MA Jinnah Road at Imambargah Mosque, after Zahreen prayer, a protest demonstration will be held by the Imamiya Students Organization to show solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian Muslims.

After the demonstration, the procession will pass through its traditional routes and end at Hussainiya Iraniyan Imambargah, Kharadar.

Yum Ali RA: Review of security arrangements by DG Rangers

DG Rangers Major General Azhar Waqas reviewed the security arrangements regarding the main procession on the occasion of Ali Day.

The DG Rangers were given a thorough briefing by the area sector commanders about the security at Imambar Gahs and the entry and exit routes of the procession.

More than 4,000 personnel will be deployed for the security of the main procession, the passageways of the procession were closed by placing containers.
