The appreciation of the US dollar against the rupee was recorded for the second consecutive day across the country.
According to figures released on Twitter by the State Bank of Pakistan’s social networking site, on the third business day of this week, the value of the US dollar increased by 12 paise more against the rupee.
According to the data, the price of the US dollar has increased from 285 rupees 35 paise to 285 rupees 47 paisa against the rupee.
According to the State Bank, the rupee depreciated by 0.04 percent against the US dollar.
On the other hand, in the open market, the price of the US dollar against the rupee has reached close to Rs 311.
A gap of around Rs 26 is seen in the value of the US dollar against the rupee in the open market and interbank.
