The Ministry of Human Resources and (MOHRE) of the United Arab Emirates has announced Eid-ul-Fitr as an official holiday.
The UAE Ministry of Human Resources has announced a five-day holiday for the Islamic festival. Earlier, the Federal Authority for Public Human Resources (FAHR) had announced a holiday for the public sector.

It should be noted that the UAE combined public and private sector public holidays, which means that Emiratis and foreigners working in government departments and private companies get the same holidays.
Eid al-Fitr in the UAE falls on Friday, April 21, giving citizens four days off. If Eid falls on Saturday, April 22, residents can enjoy a five-day weekend.
