He called on the authorities to ensure an immediate, impartial and transparent investigation into the deaths and injuries during the May 9 protests.
He emphasized that the only viable path towards a safe and prosperous Pakistan lies in upholding human rights, democratic processes and the rule of law and emphasized the importance of meaningful and unrestricted participation of all sections of society.
