With the excessive use of social media through smart phones around the world, the use of smart phone batteries becomes a headache. If it gets deleted then it might be due to some apps in your phone which are also very popular.
There are countless apps available in play store for android phones but most of the people download popular apps only. Research company PCloud has compiled a list of apps that drain smartphone batteries the fastest. As popular as these apps are, they take a huge toll on the phone’s battery life.
By the way, the top app is Fitbit which is hardly used in Pakistan, however there are some apps in the list which are more used, the top battery life draining app is Skype, followed by Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Zoom, YouTube, Telegram, Like and LinkedIn are the focus.
These apps consume a lot of resources like photos, Wi-Fi, locations and others, even if dark mode is in use but drains the battery very fast. Each app consumes more energy when in use, which increases the strain on the battery, and even when they are not being used, they continue to work in the background, which also affects battery life.
Well, deleting these apps is not an ideal solution, so the solution is to go to the battery in the settings menu and select the battery usage age. It will show how much of the phone’s installed apps have used up the battery over a 24-hour period. If you find any apps that are draining the battery too much, close them and check for updates or consider deleting them.
One way is to restart the phone, but after doing everything, if that app is still sucking the most battery life, then deleting it is the best option.
